Sanjib Chandra Chattopadhyay (born on 27 June 1838 – died on 8 April 1894) was a Bangla writer, poet and journalist. His birth place was at Kanthalpara, Naihati, district of 24-Pargona in West Bengal. His father Jadav Chandra Chattopadhyay was Deputy Collector of Hooghly. Literary Emperor Bankimchandra is his elder brother. After leaving college, the author worked in the office of Bardhaman commissioner as a clerk. But after a few years the post was abolished.
