Writer Tarapada Roy was an outstanding Poet and delightful writer. He also wrote under the pseudonym ‘Naskhatra Roy’ and ‘Granthakit’. His written first poetry-book ‘Tomar Patima’ was publish in 1958 (difference of opinion 1960). Then he wrote ‘Nil Diganta Ekhan Magic’, Pata O Pakhider Alochana’, Bhalobasar Kabita’, ‘Daridrarekha’, Din Ani Din Khai’, ‘Tubeshishur Baba’, ‘Kabi O Poroshilpi’ etc.
Among his other books are ‘Kandogyan’, ‘Gyangamyi’, ‘Dodo Tatai Palakahini’, ‘Chharabari Porabari’, ‘Balish’ etc. He was a master in child literature, Dodo Tatai is the talent pattern of its.
