Bibhutibhushan Mukhopadhyay (October 24, 1894 – July 29, 1987) was an Indian novelist and short story writer in Bengali literature. His father, Bipin Bihari Mukhopadhyay. Home at Chatra in Hooghly district. He passed B.A from Patna University. He wrote numerous novels and short stories in the Bangla language. Literary works- Barjatri, Panur Chithi, Ekti Juger Janmakatha, Jiban Tirtha (Autobiography), Kachanmulya (Saratsmrti award), Ebar Piyangbada (Rabindra award), Swargadapi Gariyasi, Kushi Panganer Chithi, Ashtak etc. He received the awards Ananda Reward, Saratsmity Reward, Rabindra Reward.
