‘Shankar’ is pen name of the author and real name is Mani Shankar Mukherjee. He was a prominent Indian Bangla author. The famous film director Satyajit Roy made two films based on the author’s novel- Simabaddha and Jano Aranya. And his novel Chowranghee also made a movie and there is Uttam Kumar in lead roles. After the publication of the novel ‘Bodhodoy’, Saradindu Bandyopadhyay send a word of Encouragement ‘Bright bold defiant’. Some days ago we shared some notable novels collection of this author and Shankar Kishor Rachana Samagra and also a scarce novel Manchitra.  Now I’ll share an another scarce book as a pdf file of the author.
