Sunil Gangopadhyay is one of the most popular writers of Indian Bengali literature. This Bengali-language Indian writer has presented many memorable works and he was also a poet, novelist, short story creator, editor, journalist, and columnist. He is one of the leading poets of modern and romantic Bengali poetry after Jibanananda.
