Writer Krishnandu Mukhopadhyay was born in 1964 in Barrackpore. His early life was spent in Shyamnagar. He received his primary education from Ichapur Northland Boys High School. He started writing during his school days. At first, he wrote irregularly in some little magazines. Since 2005, he has been regularly writing short stories in various publications of Anandabazar magazine. The story of ‘Khejur Kanta’ has become a drama. The short story ‘Chhabir Mukh’ has been telecasted on Akashbani. The author’s story ‘Brahmakamal’ won the first prize in the ‘Des Rahasyagalp competition’ in 2006. In 2007, he won the second prize in the ‘Desh Ghabi Competence’ for a science fiction story titled ‘Poorba’. The author’s first novel ‘Radhika’. Engineer in professional life, working in information technology in private power company. Wrote essays on other subjects besides literature. He is particularly fond of Indian Marg music.
