Saadat Hasan Manto was a defendant voice of Urdu literature. He was a renowned highly gifted of the sub-continent short story writer, screenwriter, translator and at the same time as writer of dialogue. Born on 11 May 1912 in the village of Somarala in Ludhiana, Punjab. And died on January 18, 1955 in Lahore. He called the father of modern screenplay in India’s Bollywood. While studying in Amritsar Hindusabha collage in 1931, he wrote the story ‘Tamasa’. The story is based on the massacre in Jaliyanoyalabag in 1919. His literary career began with as translator of ‘La Mizarable’ and story of Gorki. At the age of 24 his first book of short stories book ‘Atish Pare’ was published in 1936. Today’s Manto came to the discussion in two ways, the first Urdu short story writer and second a screenwriter and dialogue writer.
