Adrish Bardhan is a legendary figure in Bengali science fiction literature. ‘Ascharys’ was published under his editorship for six decades. He was Born on 1st December 1932 in Kolkata and in a teacher-family. he edited India’s first sci-fi magazine ‘Ascharys’ under the pen name Akash Sen and he also edited ‘Phyantastik’, ‘Kishor Mon’. He received awards Moumachi Smrity Puruskar, Dakhini Barta puruskar and got Sudhindra Nath Raha puruskar for Translation book.
