Syed Mujtaba Ali (September 13, 1904 – February 11, 1974) is a Bengali writer of the 20th century. He is one of the foremost novelist, short story, translator and delightful writer of modern Bangla literature. He is also specially popular for his travelogue writings. ‘Chacha Kahini’ is another creation among the famous stories of Syed Mujtaba.
