Author Ajeya Roy was born in 1935 in Santiniketan in Birbhum district. His student life was spent in Kolkata and Santiniketan. After teaching for some time, he worked at Visva-Bharati as an employee of the Agricultural Economics Research Center.
Literature–
This author has written a lot of stories for children and teenagers. His writings were published in Sandesh, Anandamela, Shukatara, Kishor Bharati, etc. The great artist Satyajit Roy has painted pictures in some of his stories. Notable books are- Amazoner Gahane, Pheromon, Mungu, Manuk Deutar Rahasya Sandhane, Kishor Rachana Samaga, Adventure Samagra, etc. Dipak Roy is a famous detective and journalist fictional character create by him.
