Dibyendu Palit (born on 5th March 1929) was an well-known Bengali author and born in Bhagalpur city in Bihar. He was a student of literature and completed M.A that concerning. Since 1955 he began to write novels, short stories, poems, essays etc. The first story ‘Chhandapatan’ was published in Anandabazar Patrika in 1955. Many of his written stories have been implemented into Bengali and Hindi films, television and radio programs. His created natable novels are Sahojoddha, Antardhan, Grihobandi etc. and stories are Mukhomandal, Shukre Shani, Brikha O Amanush etc. Now I want to share with you a novel collection book of his written ‘Dashti Upanyas’. There are ten novels in the book, these are ‘Sahojoddha’, ‘Gharbari’, ‘Aral’, ‘Sonali Jiban’, ‘Dhew’, ‘Swapner Bhitar’, ‘Antardhan’, ‘Abaidha’, ‘Cinemay Jeman Hoy’, Grihabandi’.
