Bimal Kar was born on September 19, 1921, and died on August 26, 2003. In the world of Bangla short story, he is known as ‘a time, an era’. Not just the modernity of his story, he thinks of the new genre of the story with a modern mind and he wrote novelty beyond traditional writing and repeatedly broke the conventional myth.
