Rupa is the mother of a twenty-four year old girl. Divorce. Sandeep is the father of a twenty-year-old girl and the EDP Manager at South Eastern Railway and is waiting for a divorce. He was in Mumbai and Bhubaneswar a year ago, now back in Kolkata to join the new post. Sandeep tells Rupa that he was a student of IIT Delhi. She is not as talented as Sandeep, so she shows her humility to this guy. Meanwhile, Sandeep mentions Rupa as a very smart and beautiful woman and appreciates her wisdom and intelligence. He may know that Rupa is a writer. Nowadays she spends most of her time in Calcutta but her permanent residence is in another city. Being a surgeon, Rupa now lives there with her daughter Riley. She wants two months to meet Sandeep.

The respected person in the eyes of the people, Saibal babu wants to marry Rupa and seeing her disinterest in marry, he proposes to have an immediate physical relationship with Rupa. Meanwhile, Sandeep also tries to make Rupa easy for him. He calls on video and wants to see her in various open dresses, like wearing a frock. When Rupa objects, he insists, what is the harm if all this! Sandeep mixes the melody of love and argues in such a way that Rupa is mesmerized by it, and she thinks for a while, Sandeep is right.
