Subodh Ghosh, a novelist, and short story writer is known as a bright star in the history of Bangla literature. Not only literature, but he had also considerable skill in military studies, archeology or anthropology. Born in Hazaribagh, in 1910. Paternal hometown was Bahar village in Bikrampur.
