For the past two decades, armed coups in Kashmir have engulfed the valley. About fifty thousand people were killed. The existence of two sides of the armed coup is clear- On the one hand, the majority of Kashmiris who are vocal in their demand for self-control, are fighting for ‘Ajadi’ and on the other hand, the Jongi activities of Pakistan-backed Islamic fundamentalists. The long undemocratic activities of the Indian government in the Valley and the inhumane Rastriyo Santras of the Indian security forces have created a sense of isolation among the people of Kashmir. India and Pakistan these two country have shown utter contempt for the views and aspirations of the people of Kashmir and have become hostile to each other in pursuit of narrow national interests.
