Tin Kahini by Banaphul pdf

The real name of the author behind this pseudonym ‘Banaphul’ is Balaichand Mukherjee (Born: July 19, 1899 – Died: February 9, 1979). He used to write poems under this pseudonym while he was in school. His birth and primary education were completed at Manihari in the district of Purniya, Bihar.
This great writer was a physician by profession. He completed the medical study from Kolkata and spent most of his life in Bhagalpur, Bihar.
His contribution to Bengali literature is undeniable- novels, short stories, plays, poems, especially satirical poems were not excluded from his pen.


His writing biographical plays “Srimadhusudan” (1939) and “Vidyasagar” (1941) are the best of all time. Besides, “Rupantar” (1934), “Kanchi” (1945), etc. are his popular plays. His popular novels are “Trinkhanda” (1935), “Dwairath” (1937), “Kichhukhan” (1938), “Mrigaya” (1940), “Dana” (1948), “Erao Achhe” (1972), “Niranjana” (1955), Saptarshi” (1945), Pitambarer Purnajanma” (1963), Manaspur” (1966), “Bhuban Som”, (1957), “Sthabar” (1951) etc. His short stories became hugely popular like ‘Boitarani Tire’ (1936), ‘Banafuler Galpo’ (1936), ‘Banafuler Aro Galpo’ (1938), etc.
